The safety of visitors to Mermaid Quay and of the many people who work here is our number one priority.

Mermaid Quay’s on-site management, cleaning and security teams are working hard to reduce the risk of infection on site. In adherence with recent Government announcements, we have made the difficult decision to close the Atrium and the toilets therein.

During this challenging time, most of Mermaid Quay’s restaurants, cafés, bars and other businesses have had to close temporarily. Some are providing take away, delivery and/or online services. We will endeavour to keep the pages about individual business on this website up to date and share this news on our social media channels, but this will be challenging in such a rapidly changing situation, so we recommend that you check with specific businesses directly. You can find a list of businesses that we know to be closed at the present time below.

We will keep the public areas of Mermaid Quay open for exercise for as long as it is safe to do so and will continue to be guided by government advice in this respect.

We are closely monitoring advice from Public Health Wales, Welsh Assembly, Cardiff Council and the UK Government.

Stay safe. Please remember to be kind and considerate to others. Please observe social distancing protocols. We will get through this together.
