Top US comedians, Elvis Presley, and a traditional three course Christmas meal are just some of the treats heading to the award-winning Glee Club at Mermaid Quay this autumn.

The Glee Club’s Autumn 2018 Season sees the much anticipated return of The Glee Family Comedy Show (Sunday 28 October 2018). A lunchtime event for all the family (grandparents and all) featuring Britain’s Got Talent finalist Micky P Kerr, the multi-talented Charlie Baker and rising Laura Lexx, alongside the option of a lunch-inclusive ticket and a great range of child-friendly mocktails. The perfect Half-Term treat for all …

Especially for Halloween, must-see Edinburgh Fringe smash The Elvis Dead (Saturday 27 October 2018) finds crooning comedian Rob Kemp reinterpreting filmmaker Sam Rami’s cult ’80s horror movie, Evil Dead 2, through the songs of Elvis Presley! A not-to-be-missed late night splatter-fest, complete with chainsaw, decapitation, and Viva Las Vegas!

Back on Thursday nights (October-November) is Pie Face Comedy, a chance to perk up your week with excellent food (courtesy of master pie makers Pieminister) and three stand-out stand-ups for just £16! Guests include Tom Stade, Sarah Keyworth, ITV’s The Job Lot’s Jo Enright, and more.

Christmas Comedy Specials are the order of the day throughout December, ensuring your festive season kicks off with a laugh. Alongside the very best comedians (including Jayde Adams, Carl Donnelly and Rob Deering), there’s the option of a one, two or three course festive menu (including veggie options as well as a traditional turkey roast with all the trimmings), and an After Party with a live DJ. Perfect for parties large or small!

Elsewhere on the Glee’s autumn season, look out for appearances from Adam Rowe (28 Oct), fresh from his sell-out UK jaunt; Aurie Styla, Guz Khan (Man Like Mobeen) and Dane Baptiste (BBC Three’s Sunny D), as part of the Comedymania Mega Tour (11 Nov); US superstar Iliza Shlesinger (13 Nov), whose fourth Netflix special, Elder Millennial, is out now; and Bafta-winning stand-up and voice of Love Island, Iain Stirling (25 Nov/ Returns Only).

All that plus regular Friday and Saturday nights, only at Cardiff’s award-winning dedicated comedy venue.
