This show features original work of local Western Artists – Arnold Lowrey & Alistair Tucker, alongside Eastern Artists- Ping Gang Cheng & Yuet Yean Teo, The aim of the show is to promote not only the difference between East and West but also the differing sectors within these cultures, through the freedom of opening the mind of the viewer.
This summer, Bill’s is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Summer of Love with a series of live gigs across a number of restaurants. On Thursday 27th July, it comes to Mermaid Quay with both Malaika and Millie Jane Franks performing between 7pm and 9pm.

The beach is back! Cardiff will once again create its own seafront with the return of the Cardiff Bay Beach to entertain families in the traditional way throughout the school holidays.
Entry is FREE with additional charges for on-site facilities. Located in Roald Dahl Plass, right next to Mermaid Quay, the Beach will be open from 10am to 8pm Sunday – Thursday, and 10am to 10pm Friday and Saturday,

For the sixth consecutive year, the Extreme Sailing Series will return to Cardiff Bay, Europe’s largest waterfront development, over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Cardiff Morris, with guests from England and Wales, will be putting on a display of Cotswold style Morris dancing plus some dances in the Welsh tradition, from Nantgarw just north of Cardiff. The dancing dragon will be there as well to keep everyone on their best behaviour! Come along and be entertained by a colourful display of music and dance.
The Queen’s Baton Relay for 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia will be coming to Cardiff Bay/Butetown on 5 September.
