Tenovus Cancer Care May Bank Holiday Singathon

The Volvo Ocean Race sails into Cardiff Bay for the first time in its history on Sunday 27th May and to celebrate Mermaid Quay in Cardiff Bay will play host to a fortnight of live music & entertainment commencing with a charity singathon to raise money for Tenovus Cancer Care, Wales’ leading cancer charity.

Acts made up from local choir groups, schools, dancers and solo artists from across Wales will be performing continuously throughout the day, including members of Tenovus Cancer Care’s own Sing with Us choir for people affected by cancer; all aiming to raise vital funds to support cancer patients and their families across Wales.

Local performer and professional singer Darren Tyson will be compering the event, which will run from 12pm until 8pm.
